Ashok Leyland has expanded its commercial vehicle network in Northeast India with the inauguration of two new medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) dealerships in Assam, reinforcing its focus on improving customer reach and aftersales support in the region.
Developed in partnership with Bimal Auto Commercial Pvt. Ltd., the new 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) facilities are located at Dinijan in Dibrugarh and in Bongaigaon. With the addition of these outlets, Ashok Leyland’s M&HCV network in Assam has grown to 26 customer touchpoints.

The dealerships have been equipped with modern service infrastructure, including wheel alignment machines, 10 quick-service bays at each location, accident repair facilities, pneumatic systems, and mobile service vans. Supported by trained technicians, the facilities are aimed at delivering faster turnaround times and improved vehicle uptime for fleet operators and commercial vehicle owners.
Speaking on the expansion, Madhavi Deshmukh, National Sales Head – M&HCV, Ashok Leyland, said that Assam continues to be a strategically important market for the company. She noted that the new facilities will enhance the company’s ability to offer a stronger sales and service experience while supporting Ashok Leyland’s broader objective of expanding its presence across key markets. Deshmukh added that the move aligns with the company’s long-term ambition of becoming one of the world’s top 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers.

He added that the dealerships will provide end-to-end sales and aftersales support, helping businesses benefit from improved service accessibility and operational efficiency.
