Ashok Leyland Ltd. has launched a new ICV Platform. Ashish Bhatia takes you through the ‘Partner Super’ range that has the OEM offering three variants to build on its strengths in the ICV segment.

Ashok Leyland Ltd. has launched a new ICV platform. The ‘Partner Super’ is offered in 914, 1014 and the1114 variants. These come in the 9.15-tonne, 10.25-tonne and 11.28-tonne Gross Vehicular Weight (GVW) respectively. Speaking at the virtual launch, from Chennai, Sanjeev Kumar, Head- MHCV, Ashok Leyland, said, “Ashok Leyland has a legacy of introducing best-in-class products that cater to the needs of customers and improves customers’ Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). In an endeavour to expand our product offerings in the ICV segment to strengthen the portfolio, and meet the ever-growing demands of the customers, we have introduced Partner Super. We wish to keep this momentum to realise our global vision of being amongst the top 10 CV players by offering differentiated products.”
The new platform boasts a design that is contemporary. For instance, the new range features a tiltable day cabin aimed at providing superior driver comfort. It is claimed to offer the best-in-class payload capacity. Through Partner Super, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is addressing customer needs across rated payload applications, from e-commerce, beverage, FMCG, whitegoods, parcel, and fruits where there is scope to offer better mileage. It is built to be agile and to ensure better manoeuvrability on narrow and congested roads.
