The Vice President of Auto Components Manufacturers Association (ACMA) for the last one year, Nirmal K. Minda, Chairman and Managing Director, Uno Minda, has been elected as the president of the Indian auto components body. He takes over from Rattan Kapur, Managing Director, Mark Exhaust Systems Limited. Speaking at the 57th Annual Convention of ACMA at Delhi, Nirmal K Minda said that the past one-year has provided a good opportunity to look at what the auto components industry is being exposed to. He expressed that the industry is witnessing various regulatory initiatives to lowering vehicular emissions. At the annual convention, ACMA announced that for the next few years their theme will be ‘Innovative and sustainable mobility’.
