Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd., has entered a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with Vertelo, a Macquarie managed integrated fleet electrification platform, to supply 2,000 XPRES-T EVs, advancing India’s transition to sustainable e-mobility. This strategic partnership underscores TPEM’s commitment to promoting sustainable mobility in India, with Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, expressing enthusiasm for collaborating with Vertelo to boost EV adoption. With the XPRES-T EV garnering significant market share in the fleet segment, this collaboration reinforces Tata Motors’ leadership in passenger EVs and contributes to India’s ongoing EV revolution.

Vertelo’s CEO, Sandeep Gambhir, echoes the sentiment, highlighting the partnership’s role in accelerating fleet electrification and decarbonization in India. Tata Motors’ XPRES-T EV, launched under the ‘XPRES’ brand exclusively for fleet customers, offers impressive features including a high energy density battery, fast charging capabilities, and zero tail-pipe emissions.
