Chandigarh-based Autorickshaw aggregator Jugnoo is claimed to have raised USD 10 million in funds in a series-B round of fundraising. The startup has raised funds from investors like Paytm, Snow leopard and venture capital firm Rocketship.vc. Praised to have the potential to create a disruptive change in public transport ecosystem, Jugnoo has seen Paytm invest USD 5 million in it. The latest round of funding was led by Paytm. It exceeded other investors in Jugnoo. The fundraising will have the company improving the driver efficiency and expanding to newer cities. Jugnoo currently operates in 30 cities and 11 villages with a network of 10,000 autorickshaw drivers. The startup is facing stiff competition from rivals like Ola.
