Capitalising on the CNG infrastructure built by Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL) along the Jaipur-Delhi highway, SML Isuzu has introduced its CNG-powered Sartaj HG72 truck in the Jaipur market. The company delivered its first vehicle in the city recently. What makes it compelling for operators to buy such a truck is the Rs.1400 green tax diesel-powered trucks have to pay to enter Delhi. RSGL has set up a mother station at Neemrana with a capacity to provide the cleaner fuel to 250 cars or 50 trucks daily. A daughter station at Kukas is in-line with the strategy of the state government to create gas infrastructure that would cater to domestic, automotive, commercial and industrial customers. RSGL is also working on a plan to set up another CNG station at Neemrana that will have five times the capacity of the existing facility.
