
Tata Motors has entered into a strategic partnership with UCO Bank to strengthen financing access for commercial vehicle buyers across India. The two organisations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at making organised vehicle finance more accessible to entrepreneurs, fleet operators and businesses, particularly in underserved urban and rural markets.
As part of the collaboration, customers purchasing Tata Motors commercial vehicles will have access to financing solutions that include competitive interest rates, faster loan approvals, simplified documentation, higher loan-to-value funding and flexible repayment options. The initiative is expected to reduce the upfront financial burden on buyers while enabling quicker vehicle acquisition.
The partnership combines UCO Bank’s extensive branch network with Tata Motors’ wide commercial vehicle portfolio, allowing both organisations to jointly improve financing reach through coordinated efforts across bank branches and dealership networks.
Commenting on the partnership, Shashikant Kumar, General Manager and Zonal Head – Mumbai, UCO Bank, said the collaboration reflects the bank’s commitment to providing customer-centric financing solutions that support entrepreneurs and fleet operators in expanding their businesses.
Rajesh Kaul, Vice President and Business Head -Trucks, Tata Motors, noted that access to organised finance remains a key factor in the growth of commercial vehicle customers. He added that the collaboration with UCO Bank reinforces Tata Motors’ focus on offering integrated mobility solutions by combining its vehicle portfolio with accessible financing options.
Tata Motors offers one of the country’s broadest commercial vehicle ranges, from sub-1-tonne cargo vehicles to 55-tonne trucks and buses with seating capacities ranging from 10 to 51 passengers. The company’s offerings are supported by its Sampoorna Seva 2.0 lifecycle service programme, Fleet Edge connected vehicle platform for fleet management, and a nationwide network of more than 4,500 sales and service touchpoints.
