Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), a major player in Small Commercial Vehicles (SCVs) in India, today announced the launch of the Supro CNG Duo. It is the first Dual-Fuel vehicle in the Small Commercial Vehicle Segment

With a starting price of Rs 6.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Supro CNG Duo offer can run on both CNG and petrol, giving operators a class-leading economy. The new Supro CNG Duo comes with features like direct-in-CNG, intelligent CNG leak detection and seamless switching between CNG and petrol options.

The Supro CNG Duo may come as competition as the company claims that it has a payload capacity of 750 kg, ranges of 325 Km with a large CNG tank capacity of 75 litres and gives freedom from range anxiety resulting in more business opportunities and greater earnings.

This new SCV is equipped with a powerful 20.01 kW (27BHP) BS6 RDE-compliant engine, providing 60 Nm torque and mileage of 23.35 km/kg. The vehicle features 145 R12, and 8 PR tyres and boasts 158 mm of ground clearance, ensuring higher performance and pickup even with a full load.

It also comes with a class-leading warranty of 3 years/80000 km (whichever comes earlier). It will be available in two attractive colours – Diamond White and Deep Warm Blue. The vehicle is supported by Mahindra’s service network, which is one of the largest in the country.”
