Hinduja Group chairman P. P. Hinduja, in a meeting with Jharkhand chief minister Raghubar Das, is known to have expressed interest in setting up a commercial vehicle assembly unit in Jharkhand. Industry sources claim that the chief minister had meetings with investors in New York, and assured investors of good governance, speedy implementation, fast decision making, and abundant as well as undisputed resources. The Hinduja Group representatives will visit Jharkhand later this year to further explore the possibility, claimed an industry source.
