Bosch Limited has announced its intention to acquire 100 percent of Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited, bringing its Vehicle Motion business under the company’s portfolio in India.

The proposed transaction will be executed through a combination of cash consideration and issuance of equity shares on a preferential basis. It aims to strengthen Bosch Limited’s presence in safety and braking systems across vehicle segments. Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited represents the Vehicle Motion business in India and offers a range of automotive safety systems. Its portfolio includes active safety technologies such as antilock braking systems (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC), along with passive safety components like airbag ECUs and sensors. The company also provides braking actuation systems for passenger cars, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.

With this move, Bosch Limited intends to enhance its mobility portfolio and enable stronger integration of local solutions to meet evolving customer requirements. The company also expects to expand its capabilities in key domains such as safety and braking.
