New facility strengthens the company’s LCV distribution network in Karnataka, taking its nationwide customer touchpoints to over 945

Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, has inaugurated a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) dealership in Raichur, Karnataka. The facility marks the company’s 12th LCV dealership in the state and strengthens its nationwide distribution network, which now spans over 945 customer touchpoints.

The new dealership, operated by channel partner SB Motors LLP, is a 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) facility located at Mukram Gunj, Raichur. Equipped with advanced tools, seven service bays and modern infrastructure, the dealership is designed to enhance customer access to sales, servicing and spare parts.

Ashok Leyland currently offers a comprehensive range of LCV products, including SAATHI, DOST, BADA DOST, PARTNER and MiTR.

Ashok Leyland’s LCV portfolio is designed to address diverse customer and application requirements, combining technology, reliability and operating efficiency. More than 600,000 Ashok Leyland LCVs are currently in operation across India, reflecting the company’s established presence in the segment.

The SAATHI, positioned in the premium entry-level SCV segment, is powered by a new-generation 45 hp engine producing 110 Nm of torque. It offers a loading area and payload capacity of up to 1,120 kg.

The BADA DOST, available in six variants, is powered by an 80 hp BS6 engine. It is designed for intercity and intracity applications, offering a combination of payload capacity, load-body length, loading space, ground clearance and a low turning radius.

The DOST range, comprising the DOST XL and DOST+ XL, caters to varied market requirements and applications.

The PARTNER, a fuel-efficient load carrier, serves the 4-tonne payload segment and is available in both four-tyre and six-tyre configurations. It is based on an internationally acclaimed vehicle platform and is powered by the ZD30 CRDI engine.

The MiTR bus is available in staff and school bus configurations. Designed for stop-and-go operating conditions, it offers fuel efficiency and ride comfort, while the MiTR School Bus complies with applicable school bus safety norms.

The BADA DOST, DOST, SAATHI, PARTNER and MiTR are manufactured at Ashok Leyland’s Hosur plant.

The inauguration of the Raichur dealership further expands Ashok Leyland’s customer reach and service capabilities in Karnataka, supporting its focus on strengthening its LCV presence and delivering accessible after-sales support to businesses across the region.
