New application-specific range targets durability, traction, load-carrying capability and operational efficiency across demanding off-highway applications
JK Tyre & Industries Ltd has unveiled four new Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre solutions at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2026 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. Designed for construction, material handling and mining applications, the new range is engineered to address demanding operating conditions while supporting durability, traction, load-carrying capability and equipment uptime.
The new products include the 12.5/80-18 MPT 45 16PR TL for Self-Loading Concrete Mixers (SLCM) and Backhoe Loaders; 16/70-20 MPT117 14PR TL for SLCM and Telehandler applications; 18-19.5 MPT117 18PR TL for SLCM applications; and 12.00R20 JDO XD OTR 22PR 156/153F TT for Mining Tippers.
The latest additions expand JK Tyre’s premium OTR portfolio with application-specific products developed for construction, infrastructure and mining operations in India.
Designed for Diverse Operating Conditions
The MPT 45 pattern has been developed for SLCMs and Backhoe Loaders, with a focus on traction and stability across mixed terrain. Its tread design is intended to support consistent machine performance, even wear and longer service life.
The MPT117 pattern caters to construction and material-handling applications, including SLCMs and Telehandlers. Its tread geometry is designed to provide grip, durability and manoeuvrability in challenging working conditions. The 18-19.5 MPT117 has been introduced specifically for SLCM applications.
For mining operations, the JDO XD has been engineered for Mining Tippers, where high loads and abrasive conditions place greater demands on tyres. Its heavy-duty construction and reinforced casing are designed to improve resistance to cuts, chips and abrasion.

According to JK Tyre, the new products have been developed with Indian operating conditions in mind, with an emphasis on durability, load-carrying capability and service life.
