Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its presence in Odisha with the inauguration of a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) dealership in Jajpur. This marks the company’s sixth LCV outlet in the state.

The new dealership, operated by Shantilata Company, is a full-fledged 3S facility (Sales, Service and Spares)strategically located at Sunguda, Chandikhol, Jajpur. A dedicated workshop for service and spares is also housed at the same site. Designed to deliver a superior ownership experience, the facility is equipped with modern infrastructure, quick service bays and advanced tools.
Ashok Leyland’s current LCV portfolio includes the BADA DOST, DOST, SAATHI, PARTNER and MiTR models. Speaking at the inauguration, Viplav Shah, Head – LCV Business, Ashok Leyland Ltd., underlined Odisha’s importance to the company.

Equipped with an 80 hp BS6 engine, it delivers class-leading power, mileage, payload capacity, and load body space. With a low turning radius and best-in-class ground clearance, the BADA DOST is built to handle both city and rural operations with ease.
The DOST range continues to evolve with models such as DOST XL and DOST+ XL, catering to diverse applications.
In the 4-tonne payload segment, the PARTNER offers high fuel efficiency and multiple load body options (10ft, 11ft, 14ft, 17ft) across 4-tyre and 6-tyre configurations. Built on an internationally acclaimed platform, it is powered by the renowned ZD30 CRDI engine.
The MiTR bus, based on the same platform as the PARTNER, is available in staff and school bus variants. It delivers strong mileage in stop-and-go conditions and complies with all school bus safety norms, while offering excellent ride comfort.
