Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL), has been recognised by Express Logistics Supply Chain Conclave (ELSC) 2016. The recognition comes in the form of an award under the two categories of ‘Excellence in Customer Experience’ and ‘Fleet Enabler of the Year’. The award was conferred upon ELSC at an event in Mumbai. Jasmit Singh Gujral, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Shriram Transport Finance Company expressed that his company has played a part in transforming the industry and has emerged as a leader in the organised sector, for buying and selling used vehicles and equipment. Gujral mentioned that the company aspires to emerge as the leader in both, the organised and unorganised sector. According to Sameer Malhotra, CEO, Shriram Automall, winning the ‘Fleet Enabler of the Year’ second time is an indication of the company’s contribution in the used truck market. Claimed Malhotra that the customer experience was standard across all locations of the company malls.
