NueGo, the electric bus brand from GreenCell Mobility, has announced to extend its services to some more cities of the South Indian market (Chennai-Pondicherry, Chennai- Bangalore and Chennai-Tirupati) after the success of the Hyderabad-Vijayawada and Bengaluru-Tirupati routes. NueGo was launched in 2022 and is successfully operating in multiple cities across India, primarily on the Bhopal-Indore, Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Agra, Delhi-Dehradun, Agra-Jaipur, and Delhi-Jaipur routes, in addition to the South Market, NueGo works under the GreenCell Mobility and the company works on a shared, multi-modal and electric bus modal. The company claims a superior travel experience as each commuter is guided to his or her seat, presented with fresh, sanitized tissues, and water bottles and can enjoy a noiseless ride with NueGo. With 12 schedules between the Chennai-Tirupati route to begin with, followed by 12 schedules on Chennai-Pondicherry, and over 30 schedules on the Chennai-Bengaluru route.

In Chennai, NueGo buses will start from Koyambedu, PRTC Bus Stand in Pondicherry, RTC Bus Stand in Tirupati, and Majestic in Bangalore. NueGo services will be available at a special introductory price in Chennai-Tirupati and Chennai-Pondicherry, starting from Rs 319 per seat.

NueGo claims itself a modern, comfortable and safe way to travel as the brand offers a host of safety features such as CCTV surveillance, driver breath analyser, driver monitoring system and speed limit checks.

These electric coaches can run 250 kilometres on a single charge, with the air conditioners on, in traffic conditions.
