KSRTC introduces the Volvo 9600 Multi Axle Sleeper coaches. With 15 brand new coaches added to its fleet on 21st Feb, travel just got luxurious and more convenient. It is the first STU to achieve such a feat.  Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri Basavaraj Bommai flagged off the buses at Vidhana Soudha, with Akash Passey, President of Bus Division, VE Commercial Vehicles.

Volvo Buses India will be supplying 20 units of Volvo 9600 sleeper coaches to Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). 16 of these coaches will operate from Bangalore, with the remaining four from Mangalore. These coaches will be added to the 357 Volvo buses currently in service with KSRTC, India’s largest Volvo coach operator.
