BharatBenz, in collaboration with PPS Trucking, has inaugurated a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spares) facility in Phey Village, Leh, Ladakh, strengthening authorised service support for commercial vehicle operators across the region.
Located at approximately 11,550 ft above sea level, the facility is spread across 20,000 sq ft along the Leh–Srinagar–Uri Highway. It is designed to serve commercial vehicle customers across Kargil, Drass and the Leh-China border regions.
The facility caters to operations including stone crushing, road construction and infrastructure transportation, where commercial vehicles operate across steep gradients, difficult terrain and extreme weather conditions.
Three Service Bays and 1,400-Vehicle Annual Capacity
The new workshop has three fully equipped service bays and the capacity to service more than 1,400 vehicles annually. It is equipped with advanced diagnostic systems, modern workshop tools and genuine BharatBenz spare parts.
The facility also provides 24×7 roadside assistance, while more than 20 trained technicians will support vehicle repairs and maintenance.
For customers operating in remote parts of Ladakh, the facility is intended to reduce the need to travel long distances for authorised service and genuine spare parts, helping reduce turnaround times and vehicle downtime.
Supporting Heavy-Duty Operations in Ladakh
BharatBenz tippers are used in the region’s stone-crushing and infrastructure activities. With ongoing construction and border connectivity projects, the new facility is positioned to provide service support for heavy-duty commercial vehicles operating along this corridor.
Rajiv Chaturvedi, President & Chief Business Officer, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, said the facility brings aftersales support closer to customers operating in harsh weather, difficult terrain and remote environments, with faster repairs, genuine parts and technical assistance aimed at improving uptime.

The facility also includes dedicated rest areas and customer amenities. With its location at more than 11,000 ft, the workshop adds an authorised service touchpoint for BharatBenz commercial vehicles operating across Ladakh.
