As construction sites move towards cleaner, smarter and more integrated solutions, Putzmeister reinforced its global leadership in concrete equipment at EXCON 2025, writes Upendra Kasbekar.
At EXCON 2025 in Bengaluru, Putzmeister presented one of its most expansive product showcases to date, unveiling more than 13 new machines across concrete pumping, batching and mixing applications. The display reflected the company’s intent to address evolving construction requirements through electrification, automation and high-performance engineering, while retaining its core strengths in reliability and output.
ELECTRIC PLATFORMS TAKE CENTRE STAGE
At the heart of Putzmeister’s showcase was its new Electric Series, signalling a decisive move towards low-emission and digitally enabled construction equipment. Key introductions included the Electric Boom Pump 36-4, E-Truck Mixer, Stationary Concrete Pump 1407 E, and the Intelligent Batching Plant MT 2.0 IBC IB equipped with AI-driven controls.
These machines are engineered to deliver consistent pumping and batching performance while reducing emissions, operating noise and fuel dependency. For contractors operating in urban zones or sustainability-driven projects, the electric platforms offer lower running costs and reduced maintenance complexity without compromising productivity.
Validating this direction, Aastha Bhatnagar, Head – Marketing, Putzmeister India, noted that the company’s latest introductions reflect a strategic shift towards technologies aligned with sustainability and digital transformation, rather than incremental portfolio expansion.
HIGH-OUTPUT SOLUTIONS FOR HEAVY APPLICATIONS
Complementing the electric range, Putzmeister also introduced several high-capacity diesel and hybrid solutions designed for demanding infrastructure and industrial applications. These included the Stationary Concrete Pump Ultima 1407 D, Ultima 1407 SHP, and the 1408 H, along with boom pump configurations such as the 47-5 and 36-4 with slave engine.
These machines are positioned for high-pressure, long-distance pumping and continuous-duty cycles, supporting large-scale infrastructure, metro, bridge and industrial construction projects. By offering both electric and conventional powertrain options, Putzmeister enables customers to align equipment selection with site-specific operational and regulatory requirements.
INTEGRATED CONCRETE ECOSYSTEM
Beyond individual machines, Putzmeister’s EXCON 2025 showcase highlighted its integrated approach to concrete placement from batching and mixing to pumping and pouring. Intelligent control systems, automation-ready platforms and digitally enabled monitoring are increasingly being positioned as standard enablers for consistency, quality and uptime across job sites.
The presence of Jonty Rhodes, Brand Ambassador for Putzmeister India, during the inauguration of the Electric Series and Intelligent Batching Plant further reinforced the brand’s emphasis on precision, reliability and performance attributes that mirror its equipment philosophy.
Through its extensive product introductions at EXCON 2025, Putzmeister reaffirmed its role not merely as a machine manufacturer, but as a technology-driven partner shaping the future of concrete construction in India and global markets.
