India’s most affordable four-wheel mini truck, priced at just Rs. 3.99 lakh, the all-new Tata ACE Pro, is set to reshape intercity cargo transport, writes Upendra Kasbekar.
Tata ACE Pro built and transformed last-mile transport two decades ago. Now, with renewed purpose, it enters the market to serve a new generation of cargo movers — offering value, versatility, and choice. Available in Petrol, Bi-Fuel (CNG + Petrol), and Electric variants, the Ace Pro is designed for all kinds of businesses, from retail to municipal services.

Powertrains that Empower
With a best-in-class payload of 0.750-tonne (750 kg) and a factory-fitted 6.5 ft load body, the Tata ACE Pro easily slips into different duty cycles, for example, a reefer container for cold chain applications. Built on a modular platform, it caters to diverse operational needs with three powertrain options.
The Petrol variant is powered by a 0.694-litre (694 cc) engine that delivers a peak rated power of 30 hp and 55 Nm of peak torque. The Bi-Fuel option combines CNG efficiency with a five-litre petrol reserve tank, generating 26 hp and 51 Nm of torque (CNG mode).
The Electric variant offers 38 hp and 104 Nm of torque, along with a certified range of 155 km powered by an IP67-rated battery and motor for all-weather reliability.
