Gro Digital Platforms, a joint venture between Ashok Leyland and Hinduja Leyland Finance, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IDFC FIRST Bank to launch FASTag services, aiming to offer a seamless, end-to-end mobility solution for fleet owners and transporters across India.
Under the agreement, Gro Digital Platforms will promote IDFC FIRST Bank FASTags through the Ashok Leyland dealership network. As a digital freight and mobility platform connecting freight originators with a vast base of fleet operators, Gro will now offer its partners a comprehensive toll payment solution enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and convenience.
One of the most important steps in creating a more intelligent, digitally connected logistics ecosystem is this strategic partnerships. The agreement guarantees fleet operators the advantages of hassles free tolling ,cashless payments, real-time tracking, and an integrated digital experience throughout highway operations, with FASTag enabled vehicles at its core.
Further strengthening the value proposition, IDFC FIRST Bank will extend roadside assistance to eligible FASTag customers through Gro’s flagship program, Sadak Ka Saathi. Additionally, the Sadak Ka Saathi (SKS) network will serve as distribution and support nodes for FASTag issuance and servicing.
