The CNG model of the Tata 407 was introduced today by Tata Motors. Compared to the diesel option, the truck offers up to 35% of earnings from the CNG. The all-new Tata 407 CNG has been created for its reputation as a ‘profit machine non-stop,’ continues to offer top performance and dependability and adds more value to the proposal with less TCO. The latest variant price begins at Rs 12,07 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The vehicle is available with a 10-feet load deck, offering a high load-carrying capacity. The all-new 407 CNG will further strengthen Tata Motors extensive CNG portfolio, ranging from 5-tonne to 16-tonne gross vehicle weight (GVW), in the I&LCV segment.
The Tata 407 CNG is driven by a 3.8-liter CNG engine, which utilizes SGI engine technology with fuel-efficient power and generates maximum of 85hp and 285Nm of top torque at low speeds. The 4,995 kg GVW truck has a gasoline tank of 180 litres to provide a shorter turnaround time and more productive performance. The 407’s SFC cabin has a high-grade steel design, which makes it safe and reliable for drivers and owners alike. The 407 rides on front parabolic suspension, offers significantly reduced clutch and gear shift effort and low NVH levels, to offer the best comfort on all types of terrains. For the convenience and in-cabin entertainment of the driver, the vehicle is equipped with a USB mobile charging port and a Blaupunkt music system. The 407 range now comes loaded with the Fleet Edge – Tata Motors’ next-gen connected vehicle platform for optimal fleet management, to further increase the uptime and reduce the total cost of ownership, with a free subscription of 2 years
