Zero Emission Fleet Prevents Over 1.4 Lakh Tonnes of CO₂ Emissions

Tata Motors, India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, recently announced a significant milestone its fleet of 3,100 electric buses, operating across 10 cities, has collectively completed over 25 crore kilometres, a distance comparable to circling the Earth 6,200 times.
Running an average of 200 km per day, these electric buses have played a crucial role in reducing air pollution and advancing green mobility in urban centres. The cumulative operations have prevented the emission of approximately 1.4 lakh tonnes of CO₂, underscoring Tata Motors’ contribution to cleaner and more sustainable urban transport.
