Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has strengthened its iconic Ace range with the launch of the new Ace Gold+ diesel mini-truck, priced at ₹5.52 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest entrant is positioned as the most affordable diesel option in the line-up, designed to maximise earnings with its low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

A key highlight of the Ace Gold+ is its Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology, which eliminates the need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). This not only helps in meeting emission compliance but also lowers running and maintenance costs, ensuring better profitability for fleet owners and small-scale entrepreneurs.
At the launch, Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said:
“Since its launch over two decades ago, the Tata Ace has consistently transformed last-mile mobility across India, empowering hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs to drive progress. With every upgrade, it has evolved to incorporate advanced technologies, versatile features, and broader applications. The launch of the Ace Gold+ continues this legacy—delivering a solution that simplifies business operations, enhances profitability, and reinforces our commitment to nurturing India’s entrepreneurial spirit.”
The mini-truck is powered by a turbocharged Dicor diesel engine producing 22PS of power and 55Nm of torque, offering durability and adaptability across varied applications. With a payload capacity of 900kg and multiple load deck options, the Ace Gold+ caters to diverse cargo transport needs.
Tata Motors’ small commercial vehicle (SCV) and pickup range now spans payloads from 750kg to 2-tonne, across diesel, petrol, CNG, bi-fuel, and electric powertrains. The portfolio includes the Ace Pro, Ace, Intra, and Yodha. Supporting this line-up is Sampoorna Seva 2.0, offering service packages, genuine parts, 24×7 roadside assistance, and nationwide support through 2,500 service outlets and the Star Guru technician ecosystem.
With the Ace Gold+, Tata Motors aims to further its promise of providing accessible, efficient, and profitable last-mile mobility solutions for India’s entrepreneurial backbone.
