On the occasion of World EV Day, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), has announced the name of its highly anticipated electric four-wheeler — the ‘e-ZEO’. This innovative new vehicle, designed for sustainable last-mile mobility, is set to revolutionise the small commercial vehicle (SCV) segment.

The name ‘e-ZEO’, short for “Zero Emission Option”, highlights the vehicle’s commitment to reducing environmental impact. Mahindra’s focus on electrifying last-mile transportation is further reinforced by this announcement, as the ‘e-ZEO’ is positioned to offer a cleaner and more efficient option for businesses.

Equipped with a high-voltage architecture, the ‘e-ZEO’ promises superior energy efficiency, extended range, and faster charging times, making it a strong competitor in the traditionally internal combustion engine (ICE)-dominated SCV market. With its cost-effectiveness and technological advancements, the ‘e-ZEO’ aims to become the ideal choice for businesses seeking sustainable and affordable mobility solutions.

World EV Day, celebrated globally on September 9, serves as a reminder of the collective commitment to green transportation. Mahindra’s unveiling of the ‘e-ZEO’ on this day underscores the company’s dedication to advancing sustainable transportation solutions and contributing to a greener future.

Suman Mishra, MD & CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, commented: “Having led the electric three-wheeler market, we are proud to reveal the ‘e-ZEO’ brand on World EV Day. This name aligns with our mission to accelerate EV adoption and drive prosperity for our customers. Backed by Mahindra’s trust, the ‘e-ZEO’ is poised to reshape urban logistics in the sub-two-tonne category.”

The Mahindra ‘e-ZEO’ is scheduled for launch on October 3, 2024, marking a significant step forward in the commercial e-mobility revolution. This new electric vehicle is set to play a pivotal role in transforming last-mile logistics with its zero-emission, eco-friendly design.
