Chennai-based Brakes India, a leading manufacturer of braking systems in the country, has initiated a nationwide customer engagement program titled ‘Brakes India Yatra.’ This extensive outreach covers over 17,000 kilometres, spanning 90 cities and 13 states. The program aims to raise awareness among automobile mechanics and the retailer community as part of the company’s efforts to promote ‘Safe Mobility.’ Sujit Nayak, Senior Vice President of Friction and Aftermarket business, highlighted the significance of this initiative, stating, “Brakes India Yatra, an extension of our Mobile Training Centre, is the largest PAN India direct marketing initiative we have undertaken. This journey, which started five years ago, focuses on providing knowledge about genuine parts and fluids to our valued customers.” As the slogan goes, ‘Partners for Safe Mobility,’ customer safety is the company’s top priority, and it is committed to delivering quality and genuine products. The Brakes India van was unveiled at the company’s headquarters in Chennai and will traverse various cities, including Madurai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Jhansi, Indore, Jaipur, Gurugram, Chandigarh, before concluding its journey in Kashmir.
