Euler Motors has launched the new HiLoad EV for Rs 3.5 lakh, it can be booked for a token amount of Rs 999. There are two variants on offer, HiLoad DV and PV and the difference between the two are in power and range. The vehicle houses a three phase induction motor powered by IP67 72 V lithium ion battery with a 12.4 KWh capacity that puts out 88 Nm of torque, DV puts out 14 bhp of power and PV makes about 9 bhp of power. Other minor difference between the two variants include the range and weight. The DV is claimed to give out a range of 150 km on a full charge and 129 km for PV. The DV weighs 688 kg and PV tips the scales at 655 kg. The company claims a maximum speed of 42 kmph and a full charge in 3.5-4 hours. The Euler HiLoad is claimed to deliver 50km in 15 minutes of charging time.
Notable features include projector headlamps, one foot water wading capability, regenerative braking, battery thermal management system, disc brakes, GPS tracking, geo fencing, DC fast charging, driver monitoring to name a few.
The vehicle is 3400mm long, 1460mm wide with a ground clearance of 300 mm and a turning radius of 3.5 m. It runs on 12-inch tubeless tyres.
The company has already received around 2500 orders from e-commerce companies and Euler plans on expansion as well. The HiLoad will hit the roads by January 2022. It comes with a six months free charging from the day of purchase and with a three year warranty that can be extended further by two years.
