At the Bauma 2019 expo that took place in Germany in April 2019, it were the cranes that turned out to be the highlight. Interestingly, around 40 cranes formed the famous Bauma-silhouette this year. With more than 600 heavyweight vehicles being used for the construction and dismantling of the show, Bauma 2019 occupied 614,000 square meters of exhibition space at Munich. Weighing 1,070 tons, which would correspond to the weight of 25 airplanes, the Liebherr LR 1800 crawler crane was the absolute heavyweight of all the exhibits.
