Volvo Construction Equipment (CE) India’s Managing Director (MD) Dimitrov Krishnan has been announced as Equipment India Person of the Year. The coveted award was unanimously bestowed to Dimitrov Krishnan by the Jury Panel for his outstanding contributions to the industry, which have not only propelled his organisation but have also had a positive impact on the industry as a whole during 2022-23. The 11^th Equipment India Awards 2023, was organized by the First Construction Council at the prestigious Shangri-La Eros Hotel, New Delhi. Held as a part of the India Construction Festival, this grand event marked the convergence of industry stalwarts and leading construction equipment manufacturers, as well as components, accessories, spares, and hardware companies, all united to acknowledge and celebrate the excellence and innovation within the construction equipment sector. Krishnan received the award from previous winners of the Equipment India Person of the Year, including Anand Sundaresan (2014), Sandeep Singh (2017), and VG Sakthikumar (2020). Receiving the prestigious Equipment India Person of the Year award, Krishnan expressed his gratitude to the suppliers and dealers for their unwavering support.
