Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is looking at running premium bus services on the Agra-lucknow Expressway. Around 10 premium AC buses and 30 ordinary buses would be deployed. By keeping the fares of premium buses competitive, the corporation is looking at providing services that are as good or better than many private operators are able to offer. At present, three premium AC buses and six AC Shatabdi buses are operating on the Agra-Lucknow route. New services along the Expressway are expected to save time and provide a hassle-free journey for passengers.
