Uber Technologies Inc. is planning to launch services for buses and mini-vans under a new service named Uber Everything. Uber Everything aims at offerring rides that ferry people from Point A to Point B. Claimed to be similar to UberHop, the service is known to be currently under pilot operation in several markets. Uber is also claimed to be working on a new scheme called Uber Pool. Uber Pool will offer ride-sharing service for buses, and will be overseen by the company’s technical centre at Bangalore. The larger focus is said to be on customisation of product offerings and technologies in India. Uber after the company merged its Chinese operations with that of local rival Didi Chuxing Technology Co., has launched a slew of new offerings in a bid to strengthen its hold on the India market and get an edge over its competitor Ola.
