Combining various modes of transport, including cycles, bikes and scooters, three-wheelers and commercial vehicles, the apps. work on Android platforms prominently. Launched by Xerox, Go Bengaluru for example helps consumer choose between quicker, cheaper or greener ways to reach a destination, and is claimed to have over 5000 users. Lithuania-based Trafi enables best routes to be tracked apart from browsing bus timelines, online and offline. It is claimed to have one-lakh users in Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai, and has had over one million downloads in nine countries. ZopHop provides bus ticketing option for travellers in Mumbai, and is claimed to have one lakh users. It has tied up with the Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation and gets a commission of one to two per cent for every ticket booked. It is also claimed to offer real time availability and tracking options by installing telematics on Mumbai’s BEST buses. ZopHop has raised a seed funding of Rs.2.9 crore, and like Go Bengaluru, included cab and auto aggregators such that the aggregators pay ZopHop a transaction fee.
