Tata Motors showcased over 40 different products, from haulage to construction related technologies and services, at the Chandigarh ‘Truck World’ recently. The highlight of the expo were the Prima range of trucks and tippers, and the Signa range of Medium and Heavy duty Commercial Vehicles (M&HCVs), which are expected to be commercially available soon in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The company displayed the Signa 4923.S and 4018.S tractors. At the Truck World, Rajesh Kaul, Business Head, Intermediate, Medium & Heavy Trucks of Tata Motors, expressed that events like these are an attempt to make the experience of buying a Tata Motors commercial vehicle special. Expectations and requirements of truck buyers, operators and drivers are changing. Competition too is rising, and amidst a need for Tata Motors to retain its leadership position in CVs. Truck World is expected to help Tata Motors to reach out to all the trucking centres and communities across the country. Until now, the company has organised Truck World events at Gurgaon, Vijayawada, Salem, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Gandhidham, Hubli, Indore and Jaipur.
