Tata Motors’ Prima range of heavy-duty trucks has been introduced in Bhutan. Tata Motors has partnered with Samden Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. and STCBL for facilitating the sale of Prima trucks in Bhutan. The initiative is part of Tata Motors’ export thrust and growth. Said Ravi Pisharody, Executive Director – Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors, “The launch of the Prima range of heavy commercial vehicles in Bhutan is an important milestone. As a major player in the region, we at Tata Motors are committed to shaping the commercial vehicle industry here.” Three Prima offerings – LX2523.T, LX2523.K and 2528.K – will find their way to Bhutan. Of these, the LX2523.T is a cargo trucks whereas the other two are tippers. The three trucks are equipped with strong aggregates and a robust chassis frame and suspension. The trucks have been extensively tested to confirm with global standards and boast of outstanding material and build quality, comfort, driving dynamics and economy. The trucks are powered by a Cummins engine with the power in the range of 230 and 280 hp.
