Tata Motors, India’s leading automobile manufacturer, has launched its first Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) truck, the Prima 4440.S AMT, in Saudi Arabia. Built on Tata Motors’ flagship Prima platform, the truck offers unmatched performance, reliability, and driver comfort. With a powerful drivetrain, robust aggregates, and smart features like Load-Based Speed Control and Vehicle Acceleration Management, the Prima 4440.S AMT is designed for higher productivity and profitability in demanding conditions.

The truck’s Euro-V compliant 8.9-litre Cummins engine produces 400 bhp and 1700 Nm of torque, ensuring seamless operation even with heavy loads on steep gradients. Its modern cabin features a pneumatically suspended seat, tilt-and-telescopic steering, and pneumatic suspension for superior ride comfort and handling.

At the Heavy Equipment and Trucks (HEAT) Show in Dammam, Tata Motors also showcased four additional high-performance products tailored to the Saudi market:

  • Prima 4440.S: Ideal for container, car, and heavy equipment transportation
  • Prima 4040.T: Suitable for transporting fuel, water, and sewage
  • Prima 4040.K: Built for heavy-duty infrastructure and construction applications
  • Ultra T.7: Designed for urban transportation needs
