Tata Motors has announced the commercial debut of the XPRES-T EV, its first electric sedan under the XPRES brand, which is only available to fleet customers. The XPRES-T EV, which is aimed at mobility services, corporate, and government fleet customers, will feature an optimal battery size and captive fast charging solution, ensuring outstandingly low cost of ownership while also ensuring safety and passenger comfort, making it a comprehensive and appealing proposition for fleet owners and operators. Developed for the commercial fleet customers, the XPRES T EV will be offered with prices, net of the FAME Subsidy.

The all-new XPRES-T electric vehicle features a 21.5 kWh and 16.5 kWh high-energy-density battery with two range options: 213km and 165km (ARAI certified range under test conditions) respectively. The XPRES-T EV comes standard with zero tailpipe emissions, a single-speed automatic transmission, dual airbags, and ABS with EBD across all models. Using rapid charging, the XPRES –T EV can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in 90 minutes and 110 minutes (for 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh, respectively), or can be charged conventionally from any 15 A plug point.
