SWITCH Mobility Ltd, a global manufacturer of electric buses and light commercial vehicles, has partnered with MoEVing, India’s premier Electric Mobility Technology Platform, to deliver 2,500 units of its cutting-edge SWITCH IeV4 vehicles. The partnership aims to champion Sustainable Urban Logistics in India for a greener future.

The SWITCH IeV4 is India’s first eLCV in the 3.5-ton category, designed for zero-emission, mid and last-mile delivery. The vehicles resonate with MoEVing’s commitment to sustainable urban logistics. This strategic alliance seeks to overhaul last-mile delivery operations, promoting sustainable economic development and curbing carbon emissions.

The first batch of five SWITCH IeV4 vehicles from the initial order of 100 vehicles was delivered on 17th April 2024, marking the official launch of the eco-friendly fleet. The vehicles were designed with a 32.2 kWh battery, offering a spacious cargo area and delivering a 120 km range for safe, comfortable, and efficient operations. Its 60 kW motor and 230 Nm torque provide strong performance, and the IeV 4 boasts a 1700 kg payload capacity and features the Switch iON system, a proprietary, connected technology telematics solution that helps businesses achieve smarter and more cost-effective fleet operations.
