Mahindra Enhances Construction Equipment Lineup with New-Gen Machines and Customer-Centric Services

Mahindra Construction Equipment (MCE), a division of the Mahindra Group, has unveiled its cutting-edge CEV5 range of construction equipment at the BAUMA CONEXPO 2024. The new lineup includes upgraded versions of the EarthMaster Backhoe Loader and RoadMaster Motor Grader, both featuring more powerful engines compliant with CEV5 emission standards. The launch underlines Mahindra’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and productivity in India’s construction sector.

A Closer Look at the New CEV5 Range

The CEV5 range introduces significant upgrades to Mahindra’s existing EarthMaster and RoadMaster models. The EarthMaster SX and SXe now come with a powerful 74 HP engine and an enhanced cabin, offering operators more space and comfort. Similarly, the RoadMaster G100 is equipped with a 102 HP engine and 440 NM torque, making it ideal for road construction projects on highways and major roads. Both machines are powered by Mahindra’s advanced IMAXX telematics, enabling better fleet management, improved fuel efficiency, and lower operational costs.

Mahindra’s Commercial Vehicle Showcase

Alongside the CEV5 range, Mahindra also showcased its wide array of commercial vehicles tailored for the construction segment. On display were the BLAZO X 48 CLS 10×4 Tipper, BLAZO X m-DURA 35 8×4 Tipper, BLAZO X 28 Transit Mixer, FURIO 10 Fuel Bowser, and the popular BOLERO Camper and Maxx Pik-up. Each vehicle is engineered to cater to specific industry needs, from bulk material transport to on-site fuel delivery.

The BLAZO X 48 CLS 10×4 Tipper is a versatile solution for heavy-duty applications such as coal, iron ore, and blue metal transportation. It features the Double Service Guarantee, ensuring a 36-hour Turnaround Time (TAT) and 48-hour uptime. Customers are compensated with ₹1000 per day if the machine is not back in action within 48 hours.

The BLAZO X m-DURA Tipper is available in various configurations, including 28T and 35T GVW, with capacities ranging from 14 cum to 22 cum. Built with robust and durable aggregates, it offers greater productivity and reliability. The BLAZO X m-DURA is also equipped with Mahindra IMAXX telematics, offering comprehensive fleet tracking and performance monitoring.

Another standout product is the BLAZO X 28 (7.5 cum) Transit Mixer, which features a 7 cum drum and Kirloskar-powered slave engine. With improved fuel efficiency, reduced service intervals, and a state-of-the-art cabin, it aims to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) for customers.

Revolutionizing Fuel Delivery with the FURIO 10 Fuel Bowser

Mahindra’s FURIO 10 Fuel Bowser is a unique on-door diesel delivery solution that supports the Government of India’s fuel savings initiative. Built on Mahindra’s FURIO truck, this mobile fuel pump is designed to deliver diesel directly to bulk consumers and industrial units. In partnership with Repos Energy, Mahindra is set to enhance fuel accessibility and reduce downtime for construction and transport companies.

Service Guarantee and Support Network

Mahindra’s commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in its service guarantees. The company offers a “Back on Road in 48 Hours or get ₹1000 per day” promise. Additionally, the 36-hour Turnaround Time (TAT) from the dealership workshop ensures minimal downtime for customers.

To support its growing customer base, Mahindra has expanded its service network to over 400 touchpoints. This includes 80 3S dealerships, 2,900 roadside assistance points, and 1,600 retail outlets on key trucking routes across India.

Uplifting Communities Through the Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan

Mahindra also highlighted its ongoing social initiative, the Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan, which supports the education of truck drivers’ daughters. Under this program, 1,000 scholarships worth ₹10,000 each are awarded annually to deserving students. So far, more than 10,000 girls have benefited from this initiative, showcasing Mahindra’s dedication to social upliftment.
