Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., unveiled the all-new Mahindra Veero, setting new standards in the LCV (<3.5t) segment. With prices starting at ₹7.99 lakh, the Veero is built on multi-energy commercial vehicle platform, capable of accommodating diesel, CNG, and electric variants, offering businesses unparalleled flexibility.

The Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), on which Veero is based, is designed to deliver superior performance, safety, and cost-efficiency. The vehicle boasts modularity, allowing payload options between 1 to 2+ tonnes and varying deck lengths to cater to diverse business needs. Designed to exceed regulatory safety standards, the Veero focuses on reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) while offering advanced comfort features.

The Veero stands out with best-in-class fuel efficiency, delivering 18.4 km/l for diesel and 19.2 km/kg for CNG, alongside a remarkable service interval of 20,000 km. Equipped with Mahindra’s iMAXX system, it features over 50 connectivity options to boost productivity and operational efficiency.

In terms of performance, the Veero’s 1.5-litre mDI diesel engine produces 59.7 kW and 210 Nm of torque, while the Turbo mCNG engine delivers best-in-class power of 67.2 kW. A payload capacity of 1,600 kg for diesel and 1,500 kg for CNG, combined with a tight turning radius of 5.1 meters, ensures versatility in urban settings.

The Veero also leads in safety, being the first in its segment to include features such as a driver airbag, reverse parking camera, and compliance with AIS096 crash safety standards. The vehicle’s cabin is equally advanced, offering first-in-segment features like a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, and steering-mounted controls.

Speaking at the launch, Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division, emphasized that the Veero is designed to help customers maximize their earnings through its best-in-class performance and tech-driven features. R Velusamy, President of Automotive Technology and Product Development, highlighted the vehicle’s multi-energy versatility, with future electric variants set to further disrupt the segment.

With its slogan “Soch Se Aage”, Mahindra positions the Veero as the vehicle for forward-thinking entrepreneurs. The Veero offers a variety of choices in fuel types, cargo lengths, and configurations to cater to varying business needs.

Pricing for Veero starts at ₹7.99 lakh for the V2 variant, with additional variants like V4 available at ₹8.99 lakh and V6 offering increased features and payload capacities with the price at ₹9.56 lakh. Optional airbag features are available for an additional ₹15,000, further ensuring safety.
