A CNG powered version of Mahindra Jeeto has been launched, a year and a half after the diesel-powered Jeeto was launched in June 2015. Instrumental in helping Mahindra carve out a 20 per cent market share in SCVs according to an industry source, the Jeeto is offered in eight versions to suit the exacting needs of its operators. Engineered to be modular, the Jeeto, in CNG form, is priced at Rs. 3.49 lakh. Available in top-spec guise, the CNG powered Jeeto is fitted with a 16 hp engine. Peak torque is 38 Nm at 1200-2000 rpm. With one of the widest range of small commercial vehicles on offer, we hope to further consolidate our leadership position in the SCV segment.” The CNG version of Jeeto is equipped with features like (ELR) seat belt systems, head restraints and bucket seats.
