Joerg Mommertz is MAN Trucks India’s new Chairman & Managing Director with effect from October 01, 2016. With around 36 years of diversified management experience across several management positions in Belgium, Scandinavia, Poland and Denmark, Mommertz believes he will be able to nurture MAN Trucks India and take it forward. “There is a strong focus by MAN Group in India and I believe that I will be able to facilitate and nurture MAN Trucks India with most dynamic market focus on economic transport solutions,” averred Mommertz. He further mentioned that the Original Equipment Manager (OEM) will continue to develop a strong and professional network, and offer customers a wide product range, service and business solutions. Joerg Mommertz began his career at MAN in 1991 as Service Manager. In his last position, he was Managing Director for MAN Trucks & Bus Russia. This year, MAN Trucks India is also celebrating 10 years of its presence in the Indian market.
