JK Tyre & Industries has launched an advanced range of tyres tailored to meet the evolving needs of the transportation sector. This expansion includes four new variants: JETWAY JUM XM, JETWAY JUC XM, JETSTEEL JDC XD, and the revolutionary JETWAY JUXe for electric buses. This move highlights JK Tyre’s commitment to delivering high-performance, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible solutions.

These new tyres represent a significant step towards sustainable mobility. By enhancing performance, operational efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability, JK Tyre is revolutionising India’s transportation landscape. JK Tyre’s advanced R&D centre in Mysuru and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes have been crucial in developing these products, which have undergone extensive testing to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.

The new launched four innovative tyres are:

JETWAY JUM XM: A 4-Star rated tubeless tyre with an RRc value of 4.9 KN/n, designed for buses and trucks. It sets new benchmarks for fuel economy and cost optimisation, translating to significant fuel savings and reduced carbon emissions.

JETWAY JUC XM and JETSTEEL JDC XD: Part of the X-Series range, these tyres are engineered for enhanced performance, durability, and efficiency. The JUC XM offers a 10% longer tyre life for tippers and trailers, while the JDC XD is designed for heavy-load transportation, ensuring long-lasting performance in varied conditions.

JETWAY JUXe: Specifically designed for electric buses, this tyre features low RRc for extended travel per charge, contributing to operational cost savings and efficiency. It also introduces low-noise technology, promoting eco-friendly transportation and a quieter urban environment. The JUXe tyre will be used on TATA Motors’ EV buses, demonstrating a collaborative effort to drive innovation in India’s public transportation sector.
