The Citylife low-floor city bus made by JBM Auto has begun running in Noida and Greater Noida. Seven JBM buses are said to have been pressed into service by Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. against an order for 105 CNG buses. Each bus is equipped with Passenger Information System (PIS), Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS), GPS, CCTV cameras and a panic button. An integral body construction, the bus is fitted with 900-litre CNG cylinders which provide a capability to travel more kilometers over other buses that are claimed to be fitted with 700-litre CNG cylinders. Built in accordance to the European bus standards, the JBM bus is made at a plant at Kosi, Uttar Pradesh.
