Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) will soon introduce a luxury bus service that will connect the airport with Noida and Greater Noida. The service is being launched in partnership with FlixBus, a global mobility company known for inter-city bus travel.
Priced at ₹199 per trip, the service is designed to give passengers a comfortable, eco-friendly, and affordable travel option. At present, about one-fifth of passengers at Delhi Airport use public transport. DIAL expects this new facility to attract more travellers who prefer a premium yet budget-friendly alternative to cabs and private vehicles.
The buses will run 24×7 and cover important locations such as Sector 16, Botanical Garden, Golf Course Road, Gaur City, Jaypee Wishtown, and Pari Chowk. Depending on traffic, the ride is estimated to take between 130 and 180 minutes.
Key features on board will include:
- Spacious, reclining seats
- Real-time GPS tracking
- USB charging points
- CCTV surveillance
- Dedicated luggage space
According to Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of DIAL, the collaboration with FlixBus is aimed at improving airport accessibility while encouraging more people to choose public transport over private cars, helping reduce congestion and emissions.
Tickets can be booked online via the FlixBus app, the company’s official website, or popular travel portals like Redbus, MakeMyTrip, and Paytm. Additionally, booking counters will be set up at the airport terminals for those who prefer offline reservations.
