The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is set to host the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, a landmark event in the global mobility sector. With the theme “Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain,” the expo aims to bring together stakeholders from across the world to shape the future of mobility. The second edition of this grand event will take place from January 17 to January 22, 2025, at three iconic venues in Delhi NCR – Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, and the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.
Spanning over 200,000 square meters, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will be a platform for more than 1,500 exhibitors, 500,000 visitors, and 5,000 global buyers. This scale is a significant leap from the inaugural edition held in January 2024, reflecting the growing importance of India as a global hub for mobility and automotive innovation. The event will feature nine concurrent shows, dedicated pavilions, and over 20 conferences, focusing on 16 key areas of the mobility value chain.
The expo’s curtain-raiser event, held on November 6, 2024, witnessed the participation of Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, and Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Shri Jitin Prasada. Shri Goyal unveiled the event’s official brochure and promotional film while applauding the collective efforts of ministries, industry bodies, and the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) for organizing such a significant event in India.
“The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 reflects India’s vision for a connected and integrated mobility value chain,” said Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry. “This event will showcase India’s engineering excellence, innovation, and ambition, all under one umbrella. It serves as a platform for stakeholders from around the world to witness India’s capabilities in mobility technology and sustainable solutions.”
Shri Goyal also highlighted the government’s support for the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and the importance of scaling EV production to achieve cost-effectiveness. “Scaling up the production of electric vehicles will help us achieve cost competitiveness while also contributing to our sustainability goals. India’s mobility story is one of skill, vision, and ambition, and the Bharat Mobility Expo serves as a global platform to attract investment, promote exports, and foster international collaboration,” he added.
Echoing his sentiments, Shri Jitin Prasada expressed confidence that the expo would play a crucial role in showcasing India’s growing potential in the global mobility sector. “Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will bring together the brightest minds and most influential stakeholders from the global mobility value chain. It is a testament to India’s growing influence in shaping the future of sustainable and connected mobility,” he stated.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will feature several specialized exhibitions and showcases. The Auto Expo – The Motor Show will spotlight the latest in powertrain technologies, while the Auto Expo – Components Show will display innovations in automotive parts and components. The Mobility Tech Pavilion will focus on advanced connected and autonomous technologies, including next-generation infotainment systems. Other prominent showcases include the Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Show, which will present solutions for sustainable urban transportation such as drones and public transport. Additional exhibitions include the Battery Show, Construction Equipment Expo, Steel Pavilion, Tyre Show, and Cycle Show, each highlighting advancements in their respective domains.
The event will also explore key areas like electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure and alternative fuel technologies, including hydrogen, to promote sustainable mobility solutions. Over 34 major vehicle manufacturers are expected to unveil new models and electric vehicles (EVs), covering electric, hybrid, CNG, and biofuel-powered vehicles from both domestic and international companies. Key players like Ather Energy, Ola Electric, Vayve Mobility, Eka Mobility, and Vietnam’s Vinfast are set to drive the electric revolution at the expo.

The Auto Components Show will see participation from over 800 component manufacturers and 1,000 brands representing 13 global markets. Country pavilions from Germany, the UK, South Korea, Japan, and other nations like the USA, Spain, UAE, China, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Singapore, and Belgium will also be part of the grand exhibition. This global participation highlights India’s growing reputation as a leader in the mobility sector.
“This year’s expo will bring together more than 1,500 exhibitors and over 5,000 global buyers. We aim to strengthen India’s role as a global mobility hub and offer a platform where innovation, collaboration, and business opportunities converge,” said Mr. Chadha. “With over 800 component manufacturers and global participation from countries like Germany, Japan, and South Korea, this year’s edition is set to be the biggest ever.”
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will also host over 20 high-profile conferences featuring industry experts, policy influencers, and global thought leaders. These conferences will address various aspects of the mobility value chain, offering a unique opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking. From EVs and connected technologies to sustainable urban transport and policy frameworks, the discussions aim to create a roadmap for the future of global mobility.
The event is being organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and coordinated by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India. It is being supported by 11 apex industry associations, including SIAM, ACMA, ICEMA, ATMA, IESA, NASSCOM, ISA, MRAI, ITPO, Yashobhoomi, IEML, IBEF, CII, and Invest India. Knowledge support for the event is being provided by PwC India.
With the support of 15 government ministries, state governments, industry leaders, and industry associations, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is set to become one of the world’s largest mobility events. “This expo will provide a platform for Indian manufacturers and start-ups to engage with global buyers and investors,” said a senior official from EEPC India. “Our goal is to position India as a global leader in mobility technology, and this event will help achieve that by promoting cross-border partnerships and business growth.”
The show is expected to underscore India’s ambition to become a global hub for mobility technology, attract new investments, and establish itself as a pioneer in sustainable and connected mobility. “We welcome all industry players, stakeholders, and international investors to join us at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and witness the future of mobility firsthand,” concluded Shri Piyush Goyal.
