Bajaj Auto’s quadricycle Qute is being exported to 13 countries across the world. It is displaying the potential of penetrating new export markets according to Bajaj Auto officials. Its India launch is however held up by pending court litigations that have raised an objection to the launch of a quadricycle as a new vehicle segment all together. The litigations have raised questions on passenger safety and disparity in the definition of a quadricycle. Awaiting verdict, what Bajaj Auto has taken to, is the next best thing possible. It has begun test running the Qute in various cities of the country. Hoping to rule out the fear and doubts the public may have about quadricycles, the Qute is being subjected to test runs. A part of these test runs are checks like speed control, difference between loaded and unloaded vehicle at a certain speed to mention a few.
