Patel Integrated Logistics has entered into the B2C (Business to Customer) segment, and is looking at chalking out last mile delivery points in an effort to leverage proliferation in e-commerce. Looking forward to tap into new business activities according to Areef Patel, Vice Chairman, Patel Integrated Logistics, the company has decided to set-up delievry centres in the region of 50 to 60 in the next two months. This is a part of the plan to open 300 centres to cater to the needs of the e-commerce business. Patel Integrated Logistics is claimed to have raised Rs. 18 crore for the initiative. “We are hoping to make this new venture more robust and growth-oriented for our company,” mentioned Patel. He revealed that his company has entered into a deal with SpiceJet and Jet airways for 24-hour delivery.
