Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and one of the country’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has begun the delivery of its AVTR 55T Electric Trucks to ASAT Logistics Pvt. Ltd., the strategic logistics partner of Shree Cement.

A total of 24 electric trucks will be supplied under this initiative, marking a significant milestone in Ashok Leyland’s journey toward advancing sustainable and zero-emission mobility in the heavy-duty commercial segment.

The keys to the first batch of four vehicles were handed over by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, President – MHCV, Ashok Leyland, to Mr. Arvind Sarda, CEO, ASAT Logistics Pvt. Ltd., in the presence of senior company dignitaries.

The AVTR 55T Electric trucks feature advanced lithium-ion battery technology, dual-gun fast charging, and full ADAS and telematics integration. They are compatible with standard trailers and superstructures, ensuring seamless adoption and reduced operating costs.
