Montra Electric has further strengthened its footprint in Northeast India with the inauguration of a new electric three-wheeler (e-3W) dealership in Guwahati, Assam. Operated by SK GROUP X (OPC) PVT. LTD., the new facility will offer sales, service and spare parts support for Montra Electric’s popular Super Auto and Super Cargo electric three-wheelers.
Located at Betkuchi, within the Kamrup Metropolitan District, Guwahati the dealership was inaugurated in the presence of Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director, Montra Electric along with Sapan Kashyap, Managing Director, SK GROUP X (OPC) PVT. LTD., customers, dealer partners and other stakeholders from the local mobility ecosystem.
The inauguration marks another milestone in Montra Electric’s expansion across Northeast India, where the company has built a strong presence over the past two years through its network of 11 outlets with 35 services. The addition of the Guwahati dealership is strategically significant, given the city’s stature as the largest metropolis and commercial gateway to the Northeast, and its strong three-wheeler market potential. This growth is further underscored by Assam’s accelerating EV adoption, with the state recording 5,196 EV registrations in September 2026, including 5,136 e-3W registrations, highlighting the segment’s pivotal role in driving the state’s transition towards sustainable mobility.
