Shriram Automall has inaugurated its 67th Automall at Akola. Aimed at satisfying the demand of pre-owned vehicles and equipment, the automall is the 14th such facility in the north zone, and eighth such facility in Maharashtra. Strategically located on National Highway six, which runs through Akola from Hazira (Surat), and to Kolkata, the automall spreads over a sprawling area of five acres of land. Fulfilling their pre-owned vehicle requirements in an organised manner, the people of the region from across Amravati, Shegaon, Khamgaon, Washim, Yavatmal, and Pusad, are expected to benefit. In conjunction with the grand inauguration ceremony, a live bidding event was also held at the Akola Automall where over 125 used vehicles & construction equipment were displayed on the ramp for the customers to bid on. The company successfully disposed 94 vehicles and construction equipment by the end of the day. The event was followed up by a tree plantation and health checkup camp. Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC) provided scholarship cheques to five deserving students.
