Busworld Europa 2019 concluded a grand extravaganza. Marking its 25th Anniversary and 45 glorious years as Europe’s leading bus and coach fair, the 2019 edition broke the myth of well-known exhibitions failing to garner a good response post switching over from an established venue. Busworld took an even bigger risk of scaling up significantly for its debut at the Brussels Expo, its new host venue post shifting its base from the popular Kortrijk Xpo by close to 40 per cent in terms of the net exhibition surface. Held in the capital city of Belgium between Oct 18-23, 2019, the risk of putting all its might behind the mother exhibition’s anniversary edition for close to three years paid off handsomely. Busworld was able to offer 79,000 sq. m exhibition space to 511 exhibitors who participated from over 37 countries. Close to 39,798 visitors from over 143 countries made it to the Brussels Expo to visit the 25th Anniversary event. Expressed Mieke Glorieux, Exhibition Director, Busworld, “This edition amounted to a lot of work, and many sleepless nights. We are very proud of the result, I would like to thank all the people involved.” Glorieux mentioned about the role of the Kortrijk Xpo team which moved to Brussels to organise the show. She also commended the Brussels Expo team. “We are grateful to the many exhibitors who supported us and the numerous visitors that came,” she added. Mentioned Redgy Deschacht, President, Busworld, “This is the best possible evolution for Busworld we have been working and hoping for. Edition after edition, the growth and internationalisation went hand in hand. We would not have been able to do this without the loyal support of our exhibitors.”
